Nothing in the Service is medical, psychological, financial, legal or professional advice of any kind, and it is not a substitute for a qualified professional. Decisions you take after reading anything here are your own.

The Service is provided as is and as available. We do not warrant that it will be accurate, uninterrupted, or fit for any particular purpose.

We do take the astronomy seriously: positions are computed with an established ephemeris library, checked against Swiss Ephemeris, and two test cases are independently re-derived from JPL ephemeris data. That is a description of the care taken, not a warranty of the result.

To the fullest extent the law allows, our total liability arising out of the Service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us for it — which is nothing — or ten US dollars. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages.

Some jurisdictions do not allow these exclusions, in which case they apply to you only as far as that jurisdiction permits.

The written interpretations, the design, and the code are ours. You are granted a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the app and read the site.

Please do not reverse-engineer the app, scrape the site, or republish the written interpretations elsewhere. They are the part that took the longest.

City and timezone data comes from GeoNames (geonames.org) and is used under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 licence, at creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/. Attribution is a condition of that licence, not a courtesy.

Planetary positions are computed with the astronomy-engine library, used under its own open-source licence.

For the iPhone app: these terms are between you and Think Discount, LLC, not Apple. Apple has no obligation to provide support or maintenance for the app, and no warranty obligation of any kind. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, and the courts of that state have exclusive jurisdiction.

If these terms change, this page changes and the date at the top changes with it. Continuing to use the Service after that means accepting the new version.
