Natal aspects

An aspect on its own is an angle. What the tradition actually has to say is about a particular pair of planets at that angle — the Sun square the Moon is not the Sun square Saturn, and the older sources treat them as different subjects entirely. These are those readings, one per pairing and aspect, each traced to a work and a page you can open for free.

A pairing belongs to both its bodies, so the Sun and Moon reading appears under each. Of a possible 372 combinations the rest are being sourced, in order of how much they bear on an individual chart rather than alphabetically. Anything involving Pluto is absent and will stay absent: it was discovered in 1930, after every work this site is able to cite, so there is nothing to quote.

How to read these

Each entry says what a named source held, and says which one. Where only a single interpreter carries a claim it is attributed to that interpreter rather than to “the tradition”, because those are different assertions. Where the sources hedge, the hedge is kept.

Some entries read almost identically to their neighbour. That is not an oversight: the source treats the two aspects in one breath — Heindel writes “the Sun square or opposition to the Moon” as a single passage — and rewriting one to look distinct would invent a difference the tradition does not draw.

None of it is a verdict. A hard aspect is not a sentence and a soft one is not a promise; astrology is a tradition of interpretation rather than a body of established fact.
