Transiting Jupiter conjunct your Ascendant

What the sources say

Your Ascendant marks the first house of your chart, and in 1906 Alan Leo held that Jupiter passing through the first house brings much cheerfulness, hope and joyousness, and often social advantages and the opportunity to make the most of personal abilities, among other things. Jupiter reaches your Ascendant about once every 12 years, and roughly one crossing in three comes in three passes over seven or eight months.

About this page

The reading above was written against the works cited beside it and checked against the passages it was drawn from. Anything below it is interpretation and context rather than a claim about what a source says.

Astrology is a tradition of interpretation, not a body of established fact. A transit or a solar return describes a tendency the tradition reads into a period; it predicts nothing.
