Transiting Mars conjunct your Ascendant

What the sources say

Your Ascendant marks the first house of your chart, and in 1906 Alan Leo held that Mars passing through the first house arouses the temper and stimulates the desire towards action and impulse. Mars reaches your Ascendant about once every two years, and up to three times when it turns retrograde nearby.

About this page

The reading above was written against the works cited beside it and checked against the passages it was drawn from. Anything below it is interpretation and context rather than a claim about what a source says.

Astrology is a tradition of interpretation, not a body of established fact. A transit or a solar return describes a tendency the tradition reads into a period; it predicts nothing.
