Transiting Venus conjunct your Sun

What the sources say

Venus crosses your Sun within about seven weeks of your birthday, and in 1906 Alan Leo held that Venus has very slight influence as a transiting planet and is rarely, if ever, noticed. Leo used “ruling planet” for the ruler of the sign rising at birth. When Venus holds that role, the same book held, the temperament varies somewhat with its course, rapid, slow or retrograde.

About this page

The reading above was written against the works cited beside it and checked against the passages it was drawn from. Anything below it is interpretation and context rather than a claim about what a source says.

Astrology is a tradition of interpretation, not a body of established fact. A transit or a solar return describes a tendency the tradition reads into a period; it predicts nothing.
