Saturn Signs
Saturn takes about two and a half years to cross a sign, so his placement belongs to a whole cohort rather than to you alone. Saturn in Aries is the experience of wanting to act fast and finding that something — circumstance, self-doubt, the sheer weight of what has to be done first, keeps slowing the charge. People with this placement often carry a private sense that they have to work harder than others to earn the same ground, and many of them are right. One 1918 source reads a well-aspected Saturn in Taurus as slow of speech but weighty and worth hearing — a quiet disposition, slow to decide but stubborn in holding a position once taken, close-mouthed and trusted to keep its own counsel. A 1912 source reads the placement as economical, reserved, fond of solitude, prudent and diplomatic, gaining by industry and frugal methods, and fond of mysticism and secret societies.
